Jetas acquired by Addnode Group AB

Gothenburg, January 11, 2024 – Addnode Group AB, an international company with over 2,000 employees and a leader in the digitization of society, today announces the acquisition of Jetas Quality Systems AB. The purpose of the acquisition is to strengthen the customer offering within Public Transport and increase development resources to provide even better service to our customers.

Jetas Quality Systems AB is now a sister company to Forsler and Stjerna AB, which is Sweden’s leading software developer for planning public transport, school transport and traffic information. Forsler and Stjerna AB are best known for their outstanding product Rebus.
With this acquisition, Addnode Group AB and its subsidiaries, together with Jetas and Forsler and Stjerna AB, become the largest player in Sweden in the area of software for operation and planning regarding public transport. This enables a powerful collaboration and gives the companies the opportunity to benefit from their common strengths and resources.
“We are pleased that Jetas Quality Systems AB is becoming part of the Addnode Group family. This acquisition strengthens our position within Public Transport and gives us the opportunity to offer even more innovative solutions to our customers.” says Thomas Planhage, Founder of Jetas Quality Systems AB.
With Addnode behind us, we also get the opportunity to further develop our functions for property maintenance, such as e.g. error reporting and case management. We can now respond to increased demands from larger property owners, not least regarding integrations. This also gives us the opportunity to participate in larger public tenders.

New in Jetas! Simple error reporting for BRFs (housing associations).

The JETAS METHOD is the ideal solution for reporting errors to BRFs (housing associations).

Simple error reporting via QR codes saves time, money and work for the board, trustees and members. Make a fault report by taking a picture of the QR code, briefly describe the fault (if necessary take a picture) and send it in. The matter is registered to the right person on the right object automatically.

Jetas turns 25!

In 2022, Jetas Quality systems AB turns 25 years old!

Much has happened during these years, not least in terms of digital development. When Jetas started in 1997 we were the first in the market to offer a digitized case management system, time has shown that we were right when it came to mobile devices as an essential tool for those working in the field.

We thank everyone who works with us and in our system and we look forward to at least another 25 good years!

Jetas pilot project for development of more efficient work routines using AI and ML with Chalmers Industrial Technology

Excerpts from ElectriCity:
“Full-scale fully electrified bus traffic on several routes in Gothenburg, procurement of a record number of electric buses and countless tests. But also a broader scope focusing on, among other things, electrification of maritime traffic and construction sites, air quality studies and community planning. These are some of the results that came from the ElectriCity collaboration. ”

In addition to this, ElectriCity has also led to new collaborations, procurement and further research. Among other things, large procurements have been carried out by more electric buses to Gothenburg and collaborative projects on standardization of buses’ IT systems. We have received funding from the Västra Götaland region for a full-scale pilot project on optimizing work routines with the help of AI and ML in passenger traffic. In collaboration with Chalmers Industrial Technology, we have developed the software that is needed to start the project. This will be carried out together with Volvo Bus within the ElectriCity project with support from, among others, Västra Götaland region, City of Gothenburg, Västtrafik and Keolis.

On May 27, we deliver the pre-programmed hardware to Volvo to be installed on line 55, after which the tests will start immediately.
